Come join us for 4 games across the wicked streets of Mordheim! Warbands from rating 1A to 1C are welcome, with a short list of "banned warbands" to keep things a bit more balanced. Build to 500 gc using the standard team construction rules. We are also running with a few house rules to make the game a bit more fun for everyone!
Banned Warbands: Amazons (Lustria), Imperial Outriders, Pit Fighters (old), Night Goblins (MIC), Norse Explorers (1C version), Ostermarkers, Shadow Warriors
House Rules:
"Dual wielding" gives -2 to hit with the off-hand
New Skill added: Ambidextrous (skill class: Combat) - Whether born this way or through skillful training this Character can use both hands equally as well, never finding themselves lacking in dexterity. Characters with this skill do not suffer the -2 modifier to hit with off-hand weapons.
Slings count as short bows and cost 5gc
Maximum of 1 Rabbit's Foot and Lucky Charm per warband. If the warband has both they must be put on different models.
Instead of rolling off, all attacks at the same initiative happen simultaneously (ex. All I4 models swing, then all of I3, etc.). This does not override the "strike first" you get from charging or specific weapons
If a hero is wearing heavy armor (or better) and goes Out of Action, you may reroll your Serious Injury result (the second result stands, even if it is worse). The exception to this rule is if you roll an 11 (even the gods want them dead!)
Optional Rules:
We are using the following rules to expand gameplay though if you forget it is no big deal!
Expanded Critical Tables
Rewards of the Shadowlord
Hired Swords and Equipment:
All 1A Hired Swords and Equipment are allowed to be purchased between rounds
Campaign Rules:
To keep the adventures exciting and to simulate a whole campaign in a single day we will be granting 2 XP between adventures instead of the usual guaranteed 1. This way you will get to enjoy advancements across the course of the game. Plenty of custom scenarios as well which we will be posting here after the event!
